St. Thomas Courthouse Restoration

As part of the restoration of the historic St. Thomas Courthouse, we were chosen to restore the stained glass dome and stairwell windows.

This is a view of the dome that not many people get a chance to see! The dome was completely restored & reinstalled in the fall of 2013.

Below is a picture of one of the sections of the dome being releaded. In order to maintain the proper curve, the panel is being built on a curved form. A second reversed form was used to solder the other side and to cement the window.

Here is the second floor landing window of the St. Thomas Courthouse which features drawings of the old 1852 courthouse building and the newer 1898 couthouse building.

Below is the window pictured above being rebuilt after cleaning and repairs.
